Doğsan Scientific Awards 2025 Announced
Doğsan continues to support scientific research by recognizing successful surgeons through its annual Scientific Awards.
Doğsan, the first suture manufacturer in Türkiye, the Middle East and the Balkans, once again recognized successful surgeons this year through the Doğsan Scientific Awards, organized since 2010 in collaboration with the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (TPRECD) to encourage scientific research in surgery.The 47th National Congress of TPRECD, held between October 15–19, 2025 at Antalya Susesi Hotel and Congress Center, brought together expert surgeons in the field. Following four days of scientific sessions, the results of the 2025 Specialist Research Competition were announced during the closing night.The surgeons who received awards in the competition and their studies were as follows:First Place in the Clinical Category:

Histological and Biomechanical Comparison of Dissection Planes in Brow Lifting: An Experimental Rabbit Model Shedding Light on Clinical Applications — Serhat ŞibarThe awards were presented to the winning surgeons by the Association’s Scientific Committee and Doğsan Deputy General Manager Çağan Karal on behalf of Doğsan.As a pioneer in the sector in Türkiye, as well as in the Middle East and the Balkans, Doğsan continues to support scientific research and contribute to surgical advancements.Source: Medikal News
